This text is one of many from my 81yo mum who’s just reading the Enchanted April for the first time, I love seeing her delight and engagement.

Greetings fellow bookish friends,
How are you getting on with your reading? I am just over half way on The Scent of Water but hope to finish that next week. As you may know it was an added extra so there’s no pressure to get that one done but I am keen to join Sarah Clarkson on her Patreon for her thoughts and presentation of it’s themes when she hosts her book club soon. I’m excited to learn from Sarah’s expert guidance so I may not cover this in conversation myself but we’ll see.

Next up: The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim.
